After a long journey, we arrived at the base camp of Mount Makalu and prepared for the summit climb. Despite the relatively safe route, we still faced many dangers, such as crevasses and blue ice slopes. We maintained a high level of caution throughout the climb, especially on the snow slope between the two peaks, which approached an altitude of 8,400 meters. We hoped to witness the beauty of the sunrise, but our climbing speed exceeded expectations, causing us to miss this stunning view. After the challenging climb, we were finally ready to conquer the summit of Mount Makalu.
In summary, the process of climbing Mount Makalu was filled with danger and challenges, particularly during the vertical snow slope between the two peaks, which required extreme caution. To break through our limits, we had to remain vigilant and focused at all times. Despite facing numerous difficulties during the climb, we overcame them all and successfully reached the summit. After the climb, we helped each other during the descent, sharing water and food, truly embodying the team spirit of climbing. Finally, gazing upon the stunning scenery from the summit of Mount Makalu became an unforgettable experience.
