When I arrived at the Annapurna base camp, I felt a bit worried because the altitude here is only about 4000 meters, making it difficult to adapt to high altitude in advance, especially since I planned to attempt an oxygen-free climb.
I proposed the idea of forming an international women’s climbing team to provide women interested in climbing the world’s highest peaks with an opportunity to achieve their dreams. I believe that with patience and time, anyone can move closer to their goals step by step, and my experience can help more people achieve what was once considered impossible. In my mind, this project is not just about achieving one person’s dream, but also about achieving an inspiring “opportunity”. In past generations, women have faced various constraints in different cultures and social backgrounds, but in this new era and foreseeable future, as long as one believes, they can take a different path. I hope to share my climbing story to inspire more people to embrace challenges, believe in themselves, and constantly push themselves beyond their limits.
